Le Château Gigault

Owned by Christophe Reboul Salze, a key player in the Bordeaux Grand Cru trade, who is convinced of the terroir potential of this area, Château Gigault is a 19 hectare wine estate located in the commune of Mazion, supplemented by plots located in Saint Genès de Blaye. The terroir is composed of light sandy clay resting on a soft limestone plateau which gives the wine a characteristic expression of limestone: stretched, fresh, saline, with fine tannins. The grape variety is 100% Merlot.
